Editorial Project Manager
(Medical Communications / Education)
Function description
As an Editorial Project Manager you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and/or managing the editorial processes of a wide range of documents related to medical communication programmes.
You closely cooperate with your team members (Marketing, Production, Medical Advisors, Project Coordinators) and you report to the Program Director.
Function criteria
• You have a life science (bio-medical or chemistry) academic education, and preferably at least 2 years’ experience in a scientific publishing company or medical communications agency or pharmaceutical company
• Superb command of the English language (mother tongue / native speaker), outstanding copy-editing skills, with exceptional attention to details.
• Candidates for the Editorial Project Manager position have also proven experience in editorial project management, including freelance management, preparation of budgets and timelines, and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, including Word and PowerPoint, are required.
You don’t have to live in the Amsterdam area already, but must be willing to move here: your job is done at the Amsterdam office. And to be honest: if you live outside the EU, there's very little chance you would prove to be the ideal candidate, unless you already have concrete plans to move here.....(Valid EU work permit required.)
Job offer
Your contract will be 36 hrs per week, 27 days annual holiday, extra time you put in, can be compensated with extra days off.
Remuneration package is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Excerpta pays an extra 13th month, has profit sharing and pays 2/3 of your pension, plus corporate health-insurance discount.
